If I was able, I would totally spend an absurd amount of money on a wedding dress. I would not, however, go to Kleinfled's. They are a nightmare to deal with and suck in general.

If it were my own money, I would have no issues with spending it. I don't dig the girls who have mommy and daddy spend that kind of dough on a dress.
But then, maybe I am jaded because I am paying for my own wedding...
I was just telling my bff on fb chat that I wish I had a wedding do-over so that I could at least try ON expensive dresses.
But overall, I am so happy with my $450 dress. I cried the moment I had it on. It was the one, and I don't mind that thousands of others David's Bridal customers wore it too. No one looked quite like me.
Well, around here, for the most part, parents pay for the weddings. I cannot imagine what my mother would have spent if we had a real wedding. I have a fair idea of what she spend on the baby shower and it was stupid money.
Oh, it's tradition out here too. Mom and Dad would pay if I were to marry DD's dad. I have been with DH for 10+ years, and they still have issues.
I am mostly over it.
Oh, honey. You have no clue. Those girls on SYttD? I grew up with those girls. The Real Housewives of NJ? Those are the parents I grew up around.
*sighhhhhhhhhh* I would have enough to buy a house out here if we didn't have to pay for our wedding.
We didn't pay for *all* of it. But over a half.
