I just need to say that, "Not trying but not preventing" is indeed trying.
You are purposely forgoing contraception in hopes that it will result in a pregnancy. I don't understand the stigma around "trying". You wanted a baby, right?
Oh we were trying. 16 cycles of ovulation strips, herbs, preseed, etc. Got my BFP on our 2nd cycle of clomid. That was a really hard year for me, my heart goes out to all the women who have a hard time conceiving, luckily i was able to in over a year which is really short in comparison to some women. I can't imagine their pain, they are very strong women.

I've never understood the "we weren't trying, but we weren't preventing" line. If you're not using any protection, you're trying imo.
