This commercial really annoys me..

The Walmart one where they say "Dont pay to go out to breakfast when you can fix a healthy one right at home for under 2$ a serving". And then they show the healthy breakfast as bacon, biscuits and chocolate milk. I mean I let ds have lucky charms and stuff but I don't claim it to be a "healthy choice". Why can't they show oatmeal and fruit? Cheap and healthy.

Ha! Yeah me too. And this is definitely hypocritcal bc ds is loving chocolate milk right now. But again, it's a treat not his everyday healthy breakfast.

Hahaha.  As I was reading this post that very commercial came on.  Definitely not the most nutritious meal they could have shown as an example.

I just bought the LARGE canister of Quaker Oats at Wallyworld for a whopping $3. That's what, 30 servings at .10 each?

I would expect nothing more from WalMart, lol.

Part of me things, who the hell eats fast food every morning, and why would they compare their "healthy" home meals to that?? The other part thinks that I feed my family of 3 every morning for less than $2. Like, I never thought breakfast was that difficult, but I guess it is for some?

You know what's worse?  When it's played over and over and over and over again on closed circuit tv right outside your pharmacy and you have to work a 12 hours shift.  Then you'll really hate it.

I know!  There's another breakfast one just like it that shows something like juice, pop-tarts, and something else.  whatever it is, it's not that healthy.  I'd give my kids biscuits and bacon over pop-tarts any day.
