Congrats!! I just wrote on your post below but thought I would start a new one..didn't know if you would read it. Anyway I just found out I am pregnant too and I too am a teacher so just wondering how maternity leave works b/c we are due in June??? Thanks

Hi there!  Congrats!  Maybe these two babies can have the same bday, too!  hehe!  Well, with our district, you only get paid for how many sick days you have saved up.  We don't get any paid maternity leave.  Do you?  For example, I had only been with the district 2 years when I had DS, so I had 18 days saved up and that is all I got paid for.  The rest, I was docked.  That is why I am excited this is a June baby and hopefully, I will only have to miss because of doctor appointments.
