I am having a birthday party for DD's 3rd birthday. If we have 100% attendence, there will be 13 kids. Do I need to do a bounce house or some other activity? What have you done? TIA[Poll]
We had a bounce house, and it went perfectly. We had a princess theme and I got crowns for the kids to decorate, but they barely bothered with that and the bounce house kept them busy the whole time.
We just had DD's 3rd birthday party a week ago. We thought about getting a bounce house or something like it, but our party was at the park. I'm glad we didn't rent it, because it was (literally) freezing cold that day. Everyone stayed inside the building we rented and ran around and entertained themselves.
It would be nice if it is in your budget but not necessary. We did ours at a park so there was a splash pad and playground there but also had a craft table set up that the kids really all loved to. They also really enjoy little games too!
I didn't want to spend the money for a bounce house, but we did have some homemade games. We had a pirate theme, so we had pin the treasure on the treasure map and then we decorated pumpkins with these kits that were self stick pirate faces. The kids LOVED it and they had a pumpkin to take home with them too. Our party was only 2 hours long but people stayed for at least 3.
