Babies on the Brain

So I see my dr. next Thursday...

and she told me no exercise in the meantime...and also no sex [which is not an issue since DH is out of town].

I am going to struggle going almost a whole week without working out.  She said 30 minutes of walking no more than 3 times in that week.

booo for being high risk.

  • OH just wait till the exhaustion and M/S hit. You won't miss the working out at all..you will be eating icecream, sitting on the sofa, and not give two shits about the gym. LMAO

    I promise to be good!

  • I think I can  honestly say that that would not be a problem for me.  Not even a little bit.

But you had better listen to her!

This exactly!  Once the exhaustion hit I didn't move from my couch.  Ever.  Unless I had to go pee or get more food.  It was fantastic!!!

  • Yeah, the gym has gone from fun to chore quickly.  And now every time I work out I feel like I did when I started nursing and wasn't used to running and standing 13 hrs straight.  Legs hurts like a biitch every. friggin. workout.

It is funny, because I was running this past week and felt like HELL.  My legs hurt, and I was exhausted.

    I thought I just wasn't sleeping/stretching enough.  Now I know why!

  • Preppy - I missed your BFP post.  CONGRATS!!!!  I am so excited for you and the arrival of a little Alex P. Keaton.
    Sadie is not impressed.

  • you'll miss it at first but after a few weeks if the m/s or exhaustion set in you won't be able to do it anyways. I consider it a good week if I work out 3 times now and before I was running 5 days a week and crosstraining at least one of the other two.
  • I'm so excited for you.  I wish I had stayed up last night to get the good news, LOL.  Congrats again :)
