Nurseries and Baby Gear

I need help...Im an idiot!

SO i had my heart set on black and white bedding although I couldnt find it anywhere I was hell bound to find some or have them made.....BUT I feel in love with a nursery furniture set that is dark red wood!!! ugh The color would not go well with black and white bedding so now what do it do. We are pretty sure LO is a girl but I would like to go neutral in colors, what would you reccomend for a color pallete now??

  • I don't think black and white would look bad with a cherry colored wood.

If you don't want to use it though, something with green would look nice with cherry wood, and it is also neutral.  Yes

  • I don't see a problem with black & white and the dark wood combo. Personally I became obsessed with having B&W bedding but nothing was available--too sophistocated for babies, I guess. So I picked B&W fabrics for custom (read expensive) bedding. I love my houndstooth nursery! Go with your gut because you'll spend a lot of time in there.

  • JCPenny has all the answers you need!  If you go with the black and white theme then they have a beautiful set called Versailles bedding... it is under the gender neutral crib bedding.  While your under the gender neutral sets look at the cream color set with circles on it.  I think that would go great with dark red wood furniture!  These are the two that I have been considering myself for a gender neutral nursery because we only have a two bedroom house for now.  So, if we have more than one child before we move to bigger house it will have to do for girl or boy.  Good luck!
  • I've seen B&W bedding on both Walmart.com and Overstock.com
