At least for this week.
The 24-hour urine test came back completely normal. My OB nurse says my BP may have just spiked because I'm not drinking enough water, etc.
Still need to take it easy and yea, drink more water. But no induction for now.
Lesson learned here ladies... make sure you're getting those 64 ounces a day, especially at the end! Don't get lazy like me!
Re: Yippee!! No Pre-E for me!
Yay!! That's great news.
I need to start drinking more water.
YAY!
Another thing I learned is to have them take my BP twice, as it's always higher when I first go in. I had an appointment today and when I first arrived my BP was 140/80. They took it again a little later and it was 124/80. I submitted my second 24 hour urine today and will have results Monday, so wish me luck!
Carla... you and I are about the same in that respect.
My BP is usually in the 120/80 range, too, but it jumped to 142/whatever on Monday, thus all this week's hub-bub and fury. The nurse did a second take on the BP, but it didn't change at all. I think 140 is their cut off, so I was just a smidgen over the line.
Fun times!
The last 3 appts I've had have been first thing in the morning. My BP has been great. Before that I was going later in the day and my BP was around 140/90.
I will keep going in the morning!
Morning appts are always best, too, if your OB also delivers the babies.
I've only been bumped one time (this week, ironically) for someone having an emergency delivery over at the hospital. Doc says she often has to bump afternoon appointments, but rarely bumps ones in the AMs.
Oh Gossip!!! Ain't that sweet! You and I got the same kind of jug!!
Make it a contest----can you beat me??? I got it about 2/3 full!!!
GO!!!!

great news!!
......off to drink some water.....
Yea, I got sort of a cup thing that you just put on the toilet seat so you don't have to try and balance or catch it yourself. Very easy to use. Also has a little channel in it so it pours easily into your little brown jug.
GL!
