what size shoes do you wear? I was reading the U/O post, and someone said that if your feet are bigger than a size 8, you shouldn't wear Uggs. I am 5'9" and either wear a size 10 or 11, depending on the shoe, and I wear Uggs. what's the big deal?
I'm 5'9" and wear an 8 or 8.5. I have small feet for my height though and even though I fit into that previously mentioned rule, I still don't wear Uggs.
ok- I am not 5'7 or taller...but I think its all about proportions. If it looks 'right' then it would be fine. I don't think smaller/shorter people should wear uggs, I don't think it looks right. Also I don't think bigger/shorter people (like me 5' 2" and 200 lbs) should wear them either.
Alot may be based just on personal perferences. I think the taller you are the bigger your foot has to be. Paris Hilton wears a size 11 (from what I've heard, I don't know her or anything) but she's really tall- so she can wear shoes (and other clothing) I being my proportions could not (well I could but I shouldn't! lol- I'd end up on fail blog or 'people of walmart')
I am 5'10" and I wear a size 10 shoe. Especially now being pregnant again, I love my uggs. I don't care if I look like I have clown feet. They are comfy.
It was me. And it was a size 8, not 6. I think Uggs make feet look huge and when women with big feet where them, I cringe a little. They just look gigantic to me. Sorry.
fwiw, I'm 5'9" and wear a size 10 shoe. So, under my own theory, no Uggs for me.
I'm only 5'4", but wear a size 8 in Uggs and a 9/9.5 in other shoes. So I'm responding here. As a small person with big feet, I say wear what you want!

I'm 5'9" and wear a 7 1/2 shoe size. I guess I'm really disproportioned. Oh well.
I agree with the sentiment that people should wear what they want to. I think Uggs are pretty ugly in general and figure that people wear them for the comfort. So I say wear them if you want to, regardless of your shoe size!

It depends on how you wear them. With boot cut pants that go over the shoe or pants tucked into shoe. I would never wear my uggs with my pants tucked into them because then I would look like I had clown feet. But with my pants over they look fine. Im a size 10 but buy 9 in Uggs since they run big and it looks normal.
I'm 6 feet and wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe. No offense to the ladies that like them, but I think they're UGLY and make people's feet look huge, so no Uggs for me.

The first time I read that I thought she meant a size 8 as in pants, not shoes. I had to read it again, lol.
I am short though, so this does not apply to me.
I still have big feet!
I'm 5'9" and wear an 8 1/2.
I don't wear Uggs. Not because they make my feet look big, just because I think they're fug.
I wear 11's. And the 11's I have on today feel so tight!
ETA: I'm 6ft1".
