GD update

Apparently they'll be inducing me by 39 weeks. I asked if this was a certainty and she said, "You will NOT be having a 2010 baby."

Wow.

I still have to go to the dietician to learn about GD and how I can control it, but I just wanted to share this here (and will make my way to the High Risk board) because I posted/whined yesterday that I was dx with GD.  I'm not as upset as I was yesterday; just trying to digest all of this... especially the fact that I'm going to FINALLY become a mom THIS YEAR.

I'll take the liberty of speaking for those who are in the very final weeks......

At that point, there ain't much difference between 39 and 40 weeks.  Seven days.  Big Whoop!   Baby will be full term.  You're going to be ready to go.  More than likely it'll be much better for baby and you to be done sooner than later.   It's just numbers at that point.

Plus, you can have a cocktail for New Years Eve without feeling guilty! HA!
