DD is drinking about 17-20oz. a day, so I am mixing in formula into her cereal so she gets between 20-24oz. Is she getting enough? Oh, and she eats solids 3x a day.
My pedi wanted O around 30 oz a day right now she is eating about 25...We are trying to get a little more in her but she has no interest. I think as long as she is gaining wait you are ok!
I am slightly obsessed about the amount my child eats (and I guess we all are!) and just today that my pedi reassured me that as long as the baby is healthy, growing, isn't constipated (which could be dehydration), and has good weight gain the amount itself doesn't matter.
Go by the baby's cues. My DS HATES his bottle and a bottle feed usually ends in tears, so I'm trying not to be so concerned about the amount as much as I used to. You know, before 5 hours ago.
I guess I worry b/c she is MUCH more interested in her solids than milk. I offer milk first, but she only takes about 4- 41/2oz. Then about 1/2- 1hr later she eats about 5oz of food. Hmmm.. ???

I do food first, and don't care that you aren't "supposed" to. It works for us and I'd think I'd rather wash down solids with a bottle than the other way around if I was him. We do three meals (just started the third meal) and total he's getting about 28ish oz a day plus three big meals.
