When did you tell?

When did you start telling people you were having twins or more?  Did you tell them right away when you announced your pregnancy or did you wait to break that news later?  We have told our parents and a few friends that we are pregnant and now with trips.  Now we have a much bigger secret to keep from the rest of the world.

We told family we were pregnant as soon as I got my first beta back- they knew about our IUI and were anxious to know.  As soon as we found out it was twins at 7 weeks, we told them that too.

 

Everyone else (aside from a few close friends who already knew) found out at 12 weeks.  We told them we were pregnant and it was with twins at that time.

We told immediate family when we heard the hbs (about the pg and the twins).  I started telling work and friends this week, telling both things at once.

We told at 13 weeks. We had several reasons for this. One, we had a lot of scares in the first trimester so we wanted to keep things to our selves. Also 13 weeks was christmas day and we wanted to tell our families in person since we live across the country from them.?

We waited until we saw heartbeats around 7 weeks. I wanted to make sure everything looked good before we told everyone we were having triplets.

Family after we found out at 12 wk u/s. They knew we were pg at 9.5 weeks.

Told friends around 14 weeks, work around 16 weeks.  I seriously started showing around 20.

We each picked one close friend to tell right away, then we told family and a few more friends at 8 weeks (by then we had had 3 u/s), and we just made the big announcement to everyone gradually over the last week or so. It's been fun telling people! We wanted to wait to tell the world until our 12 week u/s, even though I've been "showing" for weeks.

We JUST told our parents this weekend.

 We would have told before but we had a death in the family, then my cousin got married, and it wasnt the right time.

 I cant wait to tell my cousins or my friends. No one knew. Except you girls!
