Yes, completely normal. I was actually down a pound at 16 weeks. I have only gained a total of 16lbs since 20 weeks. I gained 8lbs between 20 and 24 weeks and then maintained until 32 weeks, when I was up another 7lbs. I stayed that way until 36 weeks where I gained a whopping pound in the last 2 weeks. I'm surprised about my weight gain because I feel like I am constantly eating and while I made good choices in the first 2 tri, now I am just eating whatever I want. It might catch up with me in the next few weeks. We'll see I guess. Oh and for the record, I was about 10lbs overweight before getting pg and the baby has always measured ahead or right on target, so he's getting everything he needs.

Perfectly fine, especially if you're a bigger gal... not just in weight, but in stature and build.
I was up and down a couple of pounds throughout my pregnancy. Finally on the "up" side by about 5 pounds. So hopefully when all is said and done, I'll actually be "down" from where I started.
Of course, I just put on 4 pounds this week! But it's all baby right now!
My OB said as long as you don't lose more than 15 percent of your starting body weight, it's not an issue at all.

I think it's fine. I am a larger gal and have lost a few pounds so far, which is amazing to me as I feel like I am constantly eating. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow, so even if I gain a pound a week for the next 4 I will be at a no overall gain at 16.
