This was our swim-up casita suite that was about 20 yards from the ocean/beach bar.  And the pool bar was just a short swim down the lazy river.  Plus, the sushi restaurant was right behind us.  Pure heaven.

It's called the El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya (Cancun), Mexico.  We went there last year for our anniversary and will probably return next year too.  If there is a heaven, it should look something like this place.

I wish we were still there.  Because of the high humidity, I don't have sinus issues down there.  I was headache free for a week and was so happy.

I have been there!  It really is great.

If you don't want to repeat yourself so soon for your anniversary, look into the Excellence resort in Playa Mujeres.  We are going there in April and it has a lot of the same features (swim-up rooms, lazy river, etc).
