Co-workers ??

My job will more than likely give me a baby shower before my leave. My question is do I still invite some of my co-workers to my private shower.

FYI....The gifts from work are brought pre-department, not pre-person.

If any are actual FRIENDS who you expect to maintain a friendship w/ and you feel they would like to come, then invite them. but otherwise, no.  Esp as a work shower will be thrown.  you don't ask people to buy you TWO things for your baby.

I probably will be inviting my friends, we do things outside of work.  Last year my friend had a work and home shower, I got her a small gift for one and we chipped in for a gift for another.  Another girl was short on money so came to the work shower without a gift and gave one at the home shower, which is fine too.

I think if they are friends then invite them but dont feel like you have to invite coworkers just because they know you are having one at home, I also wouldent be surprised if they dident bring a gift to your home shower if they chipped in on a dept gift.
