Baby Names

June in June?

Before my husband and I got pregnant we decided that we loved the name June for a girl.  We then got pregnant and have found out that our EDD is in June, should we still keep the name?  Don't know if it would be weird to have your name be the name of the month you were born in- just a thought...

Re: June in June?

  • I think it would be a super cute middle name!
  • I don't think that matters at ALL. ?Most of the people I see on a daily basis have no idea what month my birthday is in.

  • I don't think it matters....we will be using June as a middle name in honor of my grandmother if we have another girl and our baby will be born in May.
You are so money and you don't even know it.
  • I like the name June.  I also don't think it matters the month she was born.  I don't think I could pull off July though
  • I had a friend named January - born in January. It wasn't a big deal.
  • It's not a big deal, go for it!
  • If you love the name, go for it!
  • I don't think it really matters.  The baby June I know was born in February.  She's adorable!

  • I agree with PPs. If you love the name, go for it! It really doesn't matter, in fact, I think it's kind of cool. Smile

  • I am an April born in April and I actually think its weird when I meet ppl with month names born in other months than their name lol. I guess its because I just thought thats how it should be. Anywho I do not think its weird at all.

  • I think it's ok... it's a older common name so I don't think anyone would give it a second thought

  • I'd do it!

  • I know a woman named June born in June.  I've known her forever and a day.  It didn't occur to me and several others in our group that her name and birth month were the same - despite the fact she and several of us had milestone birthdays last year and we had a huge bash for all of us.  The kicker?  She turned 71 this year (and we all felt pretty pathetic).
