I'm fine w/ admitting I use all kinds of cuss words all day long. It drives my husband nuts, but we really disagree on whether our kids can use those words.
I think they are just words, and I want to teach Jackson that they are no big deal but there is a time and a place for them. Like use them at home, not at school.
I know a lot of people would disagree, but I just think cuss words are no big deal.
However, IMO, cuss word =/= slur and I would be very upset if Jackson used a slur of any kind at any time.

This, exactly.
Bella is just starting to repeat cuss words. Ethan has said them, but knows that he is only allowed to say them at home, and only when it is us at home. We try to keep it a rule that the words should be said in your bedroom, behind closed doors. Ethan is very good at understanding boundaries, so he knows that some people don't want to hear the words, so it's something for when we're the only people around. He doesn't have much desire to say them yet, but he does a great job of using discretion of when to say them.
But I have the double standard. The kids are not allowed to swear. They know it. They slip every now and then and I remind them that they are "adult" words (just like my beer is "adult" drink) and they are not allowed to say them. When they are adults, we can revisit!
I try not to cuss too much around DD, but a few words slip here and there. DH usually isn't so careful. They freely curse at the FD, so he says a lot of things without thinking about it. Just the other day, I hurt my finger and said, "Son of a...." and DD interjected, "B!tch!" I tried telling her that it was a bad word that she shouldn't say and neither should Mommy or Daddy, but she didn't believe me. That's the first cuss word she's said in a long, long time. (The other was 'dammit', but she only said it a couple of times way back when.)
Re: swearing clicky poll: 'cause now I'm curious

Oh, I swear. A lot.
