we started ours at 28 weeks, and will be finished at 34 weeks. It just worked out that way, but it was what was recommended by the health region as well.
PS. we're really enjoying it!! DH is starting to get excited!

We just finished our birthing class last week. Our baby care and breast feeding classes are next week. So I will have everything done at 36 weeks. I hope I'm not pushing it, but this was the general consensus in our birthing class.
My hospital offers 6 different classes that are only offered at certain times a year. I started them last week and will continue for the next 5 weeks. i wanted to finish them before the holidays start.
Because I'm a huge slacker and we were about 6w out, we just took a day-long class on a Sunday at our hospital. It covered mostly the process of birthin', meds/induction/c-section and lots of breathing techniques.
It was just kinda okay, I guess. Not all that informative, really. The films were pretty cheesy 1970s stuff and the moderator was kinda flaky. Hubby now mocks her to make me laugh "Feel all the stress leaving your toes!!!" Hey lady, my toes ain't the problem here!!
