? about DPNs

I just found a much cheaper source for the same needles I just bought at Joanns.  But what length of DPNs do I need?  I'm using 16" needles for the body, so do I want 8" for the DPNs then?

It's awesome because now I can afford to buy the other set for the waistband!

And I think I'll go ahead and get my tunisian crochet hook too.  Heaven!

    I'd get 6-8 inch dpns.  You only want shorter ones in smaller sizes.

    MTOW recommended 12" on ravelry...but 8's might work too. I use 6's for socks...

    I think 8" is standard for larger size needles.  I think that's what all of mine are, anyway.  Whatever size KnitPicks sells.  But my bamboo and aluminum ones are the same length.
