First appointment tomorrow, making a list of questions...

I am SOOO excited about my first appointment tomorrow.  I haven't been through this in over 9 years and now that I am older, I am sure there are things I need to ask.  What are some questions you asked your first appointment?  Also, what should I expect?  Will they listen for heartbeat?  Do U/S, especially if I've had previous mc?  Thanks in advance for your answers.

It really depends on your doctor and how far along you are.  This is only my experience... yours could be way different. 

My first appointment was sort of a let down.  I was given a pregnancy test to confirm.  (And by the way, I was told I was not pregnant.  And then a few minutes later...."oh, yes... there IS a line.")  Then I think they took my weight and blood pressure.  And that was about it.  

I got a script on my way out the door to get an ultrasound the following week (my OB's office doesn't do them) and to have my beta levels checked (that day and then two days later). 

I'm pretty sure I had my first u/s at 5 weeks 3 days.  There was only a sac at that point.  I had to wait two more weeks to go back again and that was the first time we saw the peanut and the heartbeat and got to actually hear it.

Do you have the same OB as nine years ago?
