We ditched our coffee table in lieu of more crawling around room, but we did use an adhesive foam guard on the edges of the fireplace to protect heads from really sharp corners. I found it at BRU in the baby proofing section -- it comes in long strips ready to attach.

We also removed the coffee table entirely for Ty but are trying to avoid that with Jake. Both boys like playing on it...but if we have to, we'll take it out.
Well our coffee table is kind of funny shaped (You have seen it), and glass. we tried a couple things and D pulled them off so we ditched the table until he was older.
We used these for the dining room table, and he took them off.
We used these for the coffee table, but they also came off easily.
We used what Sarah used - it has corner pads and then strips for the rest of the table. If you pulled hard enough (which Sabrina eventually did) the strips came off but we kept the corners on.
Although the table is our fireplace guard at this moment.

This one works pretty well, but Landon does like to play with it.

That is my concern. Ty is likely to take anything off. Looks like we may have to ditch the table for a little while : (
