I really like Amelie. It was a name idea when I was pregnant with my son. It's a bit to close to my daughter's name though (Natalie). I also like Ella, Juliana, and Amelia. Not a huge fan of Lina. It's okay.
I love the names Amelia and Lina! They were both on my list.. though Lina I spelled differently. I prefer other spellings of that name, but I think it's a great name!
Juliana and Amelie are pretty, just NMS.
I can't stand the name Ella for some reason. It's just way too cutesy little girl for me and I don't see it growing up well at all. I know plenty of people love it, I just don't. Maybe it's because I speak French and Elle = She, so the name Ella would mean "she has" and I can't get past that either.
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
not a fan of any of these, but I just wanted to say we are SCREWED if we get pregnant again and have a boy. finding a name for a boy will have to be my FT job! honestly, the only reason we found out LAST time what we were having was because we have NOTHING for a boy.
Aside from Ella, which is too common, and in the "hipster" name column, these are all beautiful names. I knew an Amelia growing up, and always loved her name. Juliana and Lina are also great (though Lina might be mispronounced).
I also had a friend growing up named Linnea (Lynn-Naya) and I have always thought her name way beautiful. But I digress..
Re: 9 years and still no baby girl name...

First of all, relax. It hasn't really mattered until now, so don't worry about how many years you've agonized.
Here are my opinions:
Juliana--pretty, a bit much, but pretty. I like Julia better.
Amelia-gorgeous if not a bit trendy right now
Ella-WAY overdone
Lina--cute but unless you are going to name her Carolina or something I would do LENA for spelling
Amelie-I like Amelia better.
GL!
I like, in this order: Juliana, Ella, Amelia.
Juliana is one of our top choices for this baby.
Weird. I have a friend named Lina and everyone calls her "Lee-na"
We didn't name our baby until I was in labor!
I really like them all excpet Lina.
I love Juliana!
The others are nms.
