We've picked. There really wasn't much choice - MIL passed away last year, and if we were using MIL's name, then it was important that we use my mom's name too. Our big debate was over the NN. We've settled on Libby, which isn't dh's first choice, but since NOBODY liked his choice (Bitsy), he's good with Libby..
What about you? Have you chosen a name yet? What are you considering? And how hard was it for you to choose?
Re: So, who's picked a name for LO?
The name choosing has been so difficult for us! Plus, I have to pick two since we didn't find out the sex. I think we have our boy's name finally. The girl's names are between 3! We are getting there slowly!
PS. I really like Libby :-)
We have a name but we're keeping it under lock and key until she makes her appearance. We decided on a first name a while ago but just found a middle name we love last week.
If she turns out to be a boy, we've had a boy name picked put since before we even conceived.
I really like Libby, too!
I love the name "Elizabeth Louise" and I love "Libby" too!
We have kicked around some boy names, but no girl names yet. We find out the gender in a couple of weeks, so we will get more on board then.
For a boy, we are leaning towards Ethan. But it isn't set in stone. Middle name will be Daniel - after my father. We haven't told him
It will be a surprise.
For a girl, our front runner is Sydney. We also like Caroline, Molly, and a few others.
I'm glad we haven't picked a name yet. We keep narrowing our list further and further and it's been fun.
Libby is adorable!
For a boy it will be Luke and for a girl it will be Ava. Unless at birth we change our minds!
We have chosen a name but aren't sharing - DH's choice, not mine though I'm OK with it now.
We went back and forth for weeks and then dropped the discussion for quite some time... until we found out the sex. After that appt, we were on our way to BRU and I told him that I had a girl-name in my head that kept popping up every so often. I said The name and he said, "That's interesting." And interesting is good and we've fallen more and more in love it. : )
Middle name will be in honor of my maternal grandmother who means the absolute world to me.

I LOVE Libby!
We have no ideas for a boy. Boy names are really hard!
Girls is pretty much decided, Nora Kathleen.
I love the NN Libby! We tried on dozens of names before we finally decided - she will be Madison Shea.
My parents loved her name immediately and my MIL paused for a few seconds and said "I guess it's cute". She was hoping for something more "traditional". I told her she can go ahead and adopt a dog or a cat and she can go ahead and name it whatever makes her happy, but this is our choice.
We don't know what we are having. I like the idea of having a short list for each gender, but we only have one boy's name as of yet. We both really like Maxwell, although I fear that Max is going to rise exponentially after the Where the Wild Things Are movie comes out.
For a girl we do have a list. Currently Ada, Anna, Alice and Ruby are in the running. My husband's favorite is Ada, because Ada Lovelace wrote the first programing language,
I love the name Maxwell, but you might be right about the popularity after the movie. Smart thinking. I also LOVE Ruby!
I think we have a girls name picked out - unless it changes closer to the time - Kaylin Elizabeth.
Boys names are a totally different story - we have NO idea! Knowing my luck it will probably be a boy.....
We might use it anyway. I am probably oversensitive to name popularity, because I am a Jennifer born in 1973, but I still turned out unique, so I guess it wasn't so bad.
I love Ruby too, but my husband isn't sold on it.
