LO might come home Tuesday!!! I feel unprepared

I spoke to LO's Dr. today & he said I can expect LO home as early as Tuesday if he continues to eat well, etc. He is up to 5lb 10oz & taking all feedings by bottle! I am really excited, but nervous! I have all the necessities (I think), but still feel really unprepared. Is there anything you ladies can think of that I really need or should as Dr? Any advice on bringing home a preemie is welcome!

Congrats! I remember being so nervous when DS first came home.  It was a little scary at first, but once we settled into a routine everything went well.  I can't think of anything specific that you will need. Except - when we were first home DS had a hard time settling, it was too quiet for him.  We would play lullaby or classical music to help him sleep.

I know how you feel!  I do not have any advice b/c I am in the same situation.  DS might be coming home this Friday!  I can't believe it!  We have barely anything here.  My showers are this week.  I sure hope we get what we need.  So far I have one crib sheet, a few diapers and 3 bottles.  Oh and tons of clothes that are way too big.  I am trying not to freak out b/c I know everything will be okay, but honestly --  I am a little scared! :-/

You will be fine.  I felt the same way even though everything was here and set up.  We just held him about 90% of the time at first and that takes no special equipment.  The only thing that was a necessity for us was some receiving blankets and his bouncer that he sleeps upright in due to reflux.  relax (if you can) and enjoy the little one at HOME!
