Success after IF

Sadie is 14.5 months, new siggy pic

Not that I'm ever on enough for you guys to remember my last picture (it was before she turned one! I'm horrible) but I finally have a free minute where I can catch up a little with something other than being a mom, trying to find a new job while trying to keep my sanity at my horrible current job. (I DID get a new job btw, start November 2nd YAY!) so I came over to update Sadie's pic. I can't believe how fast everything goes. I know everybody always says it but really, it's something you just can't grasp until it's flown right past you. Here's what Sadie's been up to:

1) Popped through 4 back teeth this week. She's had her front 8 since she was 5 months old and I thought her back ones would never come in!

2) If transitioning to cow milk and seems to be doing okay 4 days into it. She had, what we thought was, a dairy allergy but maybe she's grown out of it. We shall see

3) She's 23 pounds (50th percentile) and 33 inches long (94th percentile) and finally starting to eat better. It's been an uphill battle but I think we're in a "groove" with her finally.

4) She's still on the bottle (not the brown bottle! lol). We seem to be finally conquering so many other obstacles (eating, sleeping, pooping, this child's been a mess!), this one little bottle battle seems a bit moot. She only gets 3 a day and drinks everything else from sippy or regular cups (we hold them, of course) so we'll get to it eventually.

Of course you can always check out her blog to see more pictures and adventures! The link is in my siggy too.

I hope you all are doing well and your little ones are growing up healthy and strong and/or your pregnancies are going super smoothly. My new job is super strict with the internet use so I don't think I'll be making many appearances here but you ladies are never far from the front of my mind.

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!
