Please give me your honest opinions...I don't know how honest my sister and mom are being with me!! I plan on doing the pale yellow walls so it isn't too blue.
its cute but not really my style. but I think pale yellow walls are a good choice.. I think you could skip the curtain and do somethig unique, like get fake starfish and sand dollars and put them on material to make a cute valance.. or hang them and get a roman shade... Or get shower curtain holders that have starsfish on them and hang a sheer curtain.. just some ideas..
After years of struggling with infertility issues (PCOS since I was 16) and 15 medicated cycles we finally got blessed with our son. We got lucky with our 7th IUI using stims...Now we are back on the roller coaster to try for another miracle..IVF cycle in May resulted in a chemical pregnancy. 2 snowbabies FET 7/16-transferred 2 blastocyst...Faint bfp 4dp5dt!
I think that other than doing a very girly nursery this one can be pretty cute for a girl! I love the nice colors. Babies R Us has a super cute Sea themed room that I love!
Thanks for all of your input. I really like the drapery ideas and I have had a real hard time finding a girl nursery theme that I like...they all see too girly or too "not baby-like". Now I have a new dilemma....I found another sea life themed set. My first reaction was this one is way better and toned down a bit, but the more I keep looking at it, it looks like it may be kind of cheap looking. Tell me what you think - who would've thought this would be such a tough decision to make!
These are not my style (I'm not into themes) but of the two I think the 2nd one is more feminine. It looks more toned down and the colors are a lot softer.
Of the two, the second is?slightly?better, but neither are my style, and they both look a little a cheap to me, just being honest like you asked. ?If you are into the underwater theme, I think this is the best one out there, and this could look good with soft yellowish cream walls too...
I love them both! I wanted to do one of those but we ended up not getting a bedding set (we wouldn't use most of the pieces...). You can totally girl that up - Yellow walls, white ruffly curtains, and mermaid accessories. And if you want pink, you can do framed art of pink fish.

I love the 1st set, I did something almost identical for my daughters room 4 years ago with blue and lavendar stripes on the bottom of the walls and beige on top with white chairrail and white furniture. My friend found the cutest ocean wall hangings at gordmans and it all looked awesome. Everyone loved it and I thought it was the perfect amount of girly.
