Had NT Scan Today

It was really amazing to see our babies moving around! At first one was sleeping and the other was moving his arms around and looking right at us. Our ultrasound person was so nice. Baby B would not lay in the right position for the test, she kept moving the wand around my abdomen to try to get him to move. After several tries she had me drink applejuice. She said that sometimes helps to make them move. It did work!

So we got all the measurements then had to sit in a room for 1/2 an hour waiting for the results. It was nerve racking.

Finally the doctor came in and told us everything looked normal and I have the results of a normal 20 year old!!! We are so relieved. Not bad for a 39 year old!

I can't stop thinking of how the babies looked moving around and their little arms it was really amazing. So hard to believe that is whats going on inside me.

That's great news!  And, who says we are different b/c we are AMA?  We are just as hot, sexy and healthy as those girls on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tri boards and our babies are just as healthy as theirs!

That's great. It really doesn't get much better than that.  It must have been so cute to see two and how they were interacting.  It's amazing that one can be sleeping while the other is throwing a party.  LOL.

wait- you got your results in 1/2 hour? I am still waiting on my b/w results from 12 days ago!!

I had mine today too.  Isn't that just the bestest?  I have to say, based on DD #1, the personalities in utero seem to match the ones on the outside.  #1 was asleep during the NT scan and did not want to move. The tech kept shaking my belly to make her move and she would move into position in reaction and then defiantly turn back over into the position she was in before! LOL.  She still does that when she sleeps. If you try to turn her over she will flip back on her side.

Then, at one OB appt, she was literally dancing around in there.  The OB said she'd never really seen that before, and it really looked like dancing. Well, you can see from my siggy that this is still the case.  #2 was pretty cooperative today, and was hopping up and down.  So I think s/he will be easy to deal with, but a ball full of energy!

 So, I'm guessing your twins will probably be Baby A, very low-key, and Baby B--It's party time! LOL
