Warm Springs, Fremont area?

I am reposting this.

Just wondering since we are thinking of moving there due to DH's job and also day care. We currently live in south SJ, so trying to find a home there. However, no luck in finding anything that is decently nice... : (

 If you live there, how do you like it? Are the schools really that good according to the API scores?

I'm in north Fremont, more like Ardenwood, but I like it! I actually am not sure about the schools; we bought our house before we were even married, so it wasn't something we looked into a whole lot... are you looking to buy or rent? Single family, townhouse, or what?

As someone who has lived in Fremont most of my life (and currently living in central Fremont), I can tell you Warm Springs is one of the better areas in Fremont. I do know, they have some of the better schools in the district, and it is VERY safe in comparison to a lot of other areas in town. I have friends with kids that go to Warm Springs schools, and are very happy they bought homes there for those reason. I don't have any children yet (expecting the first now), but can tell you that it is one of the areas we will look at moving to closer to school age.
