Prometrium - which way do you take it?

My RE said I could take it 3 times a day orally or 2 times a day vaginally...whichever I prefer.

Which way does your RE say to take it? Which way do you prefer?

i'd take it orally if it were an option...the vaginal ones are kinda gross....

I was only given the vaginal option. It's messy so if they give you the option to take it orally, I'd do that.

I take it vaginally, but haven't found it to be messy yet. I take it at night though- so maybe that's why b/c it's all absorbed before i stand up. But I'm only on it once daily.

I take it orally. It does make me dizzy so I take it right before bed.

orally if only taking once a day. It makes me really sleepy, but if it is multiple times a day, vaginally because there are less s/e.

vaginally, twice a day. It is a bit messy, but nothing like say yeast infection treatment.

My OB prescribed it orally, but my RE prescribed in vaginally (Crinone). When I asked the RE if I could take it orally instead, they said that for IF purposes, vaginally works better.
