Decals on something other than the wall?

Has anyone put decals on something other than the wall?

 I was thinking of buying the ones that match LO's airplaine bedding, putting some on mat board (maybe?) and framing them.   That way I could have a cluster of pics to hang above the changing table/dresser.

 Anyone have any idea if they will stick to anything other than a painted wall?

If you purchase from www.uppercaseliving.com you can put the decals on glass plates, mirrors, stone, smoothed wood, windows, matte to frame, you can put it on anything that has a flat surface.  I also love this website because you can custom make your own sayings, colors, the possibilities are endless!

what airplane bedding are you using? My fiance and I are both pilots are were looking for some cute aviation bedding and are having a hard time

I 2nd pp, you can put vinyl wall art on things other than just the wall, at least w/ uppercaseliving, so I would think any vinyl wall art would work.  I am planning on putting some on glass for our nursery myself....just as soon as I find something I like that fits the window in the nursery door.

I had DH drill two holes in the top of 12 X 12 in pieces of plywood, sand, and paint them then I put the decals (from etsy) on those and hung them with blue, grosgrain ribbon.  It creates wall art that doesn't steam off when I use the humidifier- like the other decals I put directly on the wall.

I just got back from Micheal's...I got 3 frames and a several different colors of a thin poster board like paper that had a smooth finish.  Let's see if this works!!  I will post pics later if it turns out well ladies!

I'm putting mine on an oval frameless mirror (words say "bloom where you are planted, got them on etsy), and then making the mirror look as though it is hanging by a ribbon.
