Weekend! Anyone have plans?

I have big plans for tomorrow... I'm taking DS to the Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D  movie double-feature that's on for a limited run. He's very excited. Me, not so much Smile

On Sunday, we have friends coming for dinner, and I'm looking forward to that. Anyone got any suggestions for a nice menu?

Oh, and I suppose we get to tell my mom that it's a girl, which should send her off into a baby clothes shopping frenzy - she'll be happy and have fun, so that will be nice.

    Aahhh! I hit return twice and it posted before I was done!

    Anyway, what are you all up to? Anything fun?

    We're just planning to do chores and errands this weekend.  We have some fun things planned the next 3 weekends, so we're going to try to get a bunch of stuff done now.

    My friends are throwing a shower for me tomorrow. It will be pretty small as I don't really have any family in the area but I am looking forward to spending time with my friends.

    Since I am a government drone, I get Monday off. I need it. I plan to catch up on a lot of sleep this weekend.

    I REALLY want to see the Toy Story 3D double feature so I may talk DH into doing that on Sunday!

    I have a check-up tomorrow @ 9:30 am.  I don't want to get on the scale! :)  I sure am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat though but I sure wish the doctor would decide to "take a peak" at the baby!! :) 

    Other than that we have no real plans.

    I think we are going to make The Big Reveal this weekend to the parents!  We were going to wait until the end of 1st tri, but since the dr told us at our CVS that our chances of m/c are 2%, we feel comfortable enough to come out of the PG closet. 

    DH is asking his dad over to our house to help with some home improvement project and will tell him then.  My mom lives in LA, so I will tell her via webcam.  I was going to fly out there and tell her in person, but I think the webcam will do a fine job and much less expensive!
