I was very brave and ordered an upholstered rocker from walmart:

with tax and shipping my total was just under $250.

and...

I LOOOOOVE IT! I am soooo glad I didnt spend $800 on the pottery barn kids version.

Oh good b/c those things range in price so much I was afraid to go too cheap. I think I know which one you ordered and I'm all over it!! LOL

DH actually builds furniture (usually tables and cabinets and stuff) and he was VERY happy with the construction and the wood that was used. I know nothing about that sort of thing, but if he is pleased, it must be decent!

Our of curiousity--- is the slipcover more yellow or beige? ?The review said theirs was beige-y so I was nervous to buy it! ?Thanks!?

It is definately a khaki color, as the reviewers stated. Not yellow at all. Which worked perfect for me! But I bet some people were a bit crabby when they got it.

I've had my rocker for a while and I put the ottoman on the registry and I figured if no one got this for us oh well. Then we got so many gift cards that we got it. I love the set, we did the chocolate color instead, but It fit so nice. I was going to scotch guard it but I did a test on it and the color was coming off so I decided not to. The problem they were having is that they did not have the slipcovers on there anymore so some people bought the rocker then decided they would wait to order slipcover and they were always sold out. You can't beat it for the Price!!!
