OB appt today-Vent!

So, I went in for my OB appointment. I was told that I'd be doing group B test, checked for dialation, and an ultrasound. I got there five minutes early, and might I add that I had an early appt, 9:45. There was one other woman in the waiting room, and she was waiting to get pricked for her glucose test. Anyways, I waited 40 minutes. There were people coming in at 10a that were supposed to be there at 9:15 and 9:30--and they took them before me!!

So finally I go back, waited in that room for twenty minutes. Doctor said he's really busy and going to skip the tests, and told me to schedule in TWO weeks. I reminded him how far along I am and he said that his practice is very busy and we would do everything in two weeks. Gag! This makes me soooo mad

Ah! I hope I pop soon, I'm getting bitter. He he.

I would have been mad also!  What was the point of you going if he was not going to do anything!

That would have made me hopping mad.  What if you go into labor before then?  Gheez.

Silly doctor's offices.... don't they realize they work for US, not the other way around?!?

I am sorry but that is unacceptable.  I worked for a VERY busy practice on the Upper East Side.  Granted it wasn't for OB/GYN, but our doctors ALWAYS made time for their patients no matter how far behind schedule we were.  Tests were always done when they said they would be done.  I would have called his practice unprofessional to say the least!  We would never treat our patients like that at my old office!
