Pregnant after 35

feeling exceptionally old... or pg?

ack, I'm so incredibly tired these days. It's like 1st tri all over again without the feeling of needing to hurl every other minute. Okay, maybe it's not That bad because I don't HAVE to nap during the work day the way I did in 1st tri but by the time I get home from work, I do. I hate not having energy.

That's not even what is making me feel old/pg. It's my back. Oy vey it hurts. I have to walk carefully and move slowly to avoid sharp pains. And I can't sit up strait - must be reclined a bit.

I just need a nap... and a cane.

so...old? or pg? or both? : )

and boy what is the next 12 weeks gonna bring if I'm already feeling like this now?! meh, as long as she's healthy, it's all good right?

Re: feeling exceptionally old... or pg?

  • I'm feeling the same way, minus the back pain. No energy at all even though I've been sleeping 12 hours a night.

  • I think it's pregnant. :)

When I wasn't pregnant, I didn't feel this achey so it has to be third tri aches and pains.

  • I feel you. I don't have back pain but I do have knee pain from the Relaxin plus baby weight. Getting up and down is really painful for me right now and I don't imagine it will get better over the next 11.5 weeks.

And tired. I take a nap at my desk everyday and still can't stay up until even 9:00 anymore (I get up at 5:00 so I never made it much past 9, but it's worse now.)

Hang in there. We just have to remember that it is temporary and worth it.
