We are taking home the babies BUT...

DH and DS have a cold.  The insurance won't let them stay in the NICU so we are going home.  He will wear a mask and I'm going to keep him away from all care but man talk about bad timing!

Congrats on taking your babies home! My DH got sick (and he never gets sick!) the week we brought our second son home. He wore a mask and all is well:)

That's great news. DH and I both had colds in the first few months we brought Marino home. We used face masks when we were going to hold him, lots of hand washing, disinfectant. Good thing you are healthy!! Enjoy, enjoy, show us pics!!

Congrats on bringing them home!  We had several colds during Campbell's 1st winter and she never got sick because we were so careful.  You can do it!

DH had a HORRIBLE cold when we brought jack home. i just did as much of the care by myself as i could and he wore a mask when he held him. we also washed our hands and used hand sanitizer like no ones business. jack never got sick so it can be done.
