How did you tell your DH about the baby? How long did you wait to tell him?

I found out late on a Saturday night (he was out with friends) and I ended up not telling him till monday evening because I couldnt find the perfect timing on Sunday! He doesnt know that I waited a day or two to tell him tho lol...

I left a sleeper on our bed that says "I love Daddy" with a little note. He found it when he walked into our bedroom.

I shared the BFP stick with him immediately.  Because of our loss history, we were happy, but also very cautiously guarded with our excitement.

I surprised him with the video camera and tests when he came home from work the night I got the BFP (s). I can't keep secrets, least of all from him.

I found out through bloodwork following my D&C.  We were out to dinner at Bennigan's waiting for the call.  I just got off the phone and said 5,000 and started crying.

i left the stick on the bathroom counter so he could see it when he got up and have time to take it in.  he pretended not to see it, i guess out of fear until i seduced him and then he picked it up and was like "is this for real" and i said yes

I spur of the moment decided to run to the dollar tree on a lunch break to get tests and test at lunch (both BFPs happened in between visitors, so I had limited time). I texted DH the pic of the positive. He was ecstatic.

 Lol! That's what I do when I get a +opk.. I text a picture of the smiley to DH and he comes home for "lunch"

We have cats and he hates cleaning the litter so I gave him a gift bag with a pooper scooper in it...Took him a couple minutes, but he caught on

My re's office left me a message on my cell Friday afternoon but I didn't listen to it until Saturday morning. Dh was OOT until late Friday night and I wanted him to be right there incase I needed his shoulder again.

SO I listened to the message and was pleasantly surprised (I was 150% convinced I wasn't pg). I went into my closet where I had a little bag stashed and gave it to him and said "we can finally use this".

We were both over the moon!

I jumped on the bed first thing in the morning w/ the +HPT. We'd been trying pretty hard, so I wasn't trying to do some big elaborate surprise

My DH was coming home from an out of town trip the day I tested.  I had to hold it in all day at work.  When he walked in the door that night I said welcome home daddy and gave him a big hug.  He said aww thanks babe, I missed you too.  So I looked him square in the eye and say "no, welcome home....daddy".  It clicked for him then and he was very excited!
