What other cereals do you give your toddlers? Nate's only had cheerios so far, and I'd like to offer him something else. I think a little variety would be nice.
Eli gets corn flakes and rice crispies sometimes at daycare. At home he doesn't eat much cereal, but he has had Crispix before and really liked them. And he's had my Special K before.
Finger food. I give him cereal pretty much every morning in a snack trap while we get ready for the day. I don't want him to have to wait 1-2 hours to eat breakfast, so it's a little snack to hold him over until he gets breaskfast.
I've heard of those rice krispies, but I've never noticed them in the store. I usually run through the cereal aisle with blinders on though, or else I'll walk out with a cart full of cinnamon toast crunch.

Hehe... me too. I LOVE cereal...especially the unhealthy kind! Give me a box of Fruity Pebbles and I'm a happy girl.
Also, Kashi has some good ones--Honey Sunshine is fantastic! it kind of tastes like Captain Crunch, but is way healthier. I like their Honey Toasted Heart to Heart, but it's a lot like Cheerios.. Looks like they also have a kid cereal--Mighty Bites. I've never tried it though.
DD loves the Jumbo Rice Krispies. She also really likes Chex in any flavor. Have you tried other kinds of Cheerios? DD loved the multi grain ones... they are a tiny bit sweeter than the plain but not like Honey Nut sweet.
Re: Good toddler cereals other than cheerios?
Does he eat it with milk, or just as a finger food?
There are some new "jumbo" multi grain Rice Krispies that are yummy. Or how about Kix, chex, etc?
