Anyone from the NJ/NY/PA area?

I'm taking my 2.5 year old son to NJ in November and I'm looking for a fun toddler place to take him for the day. We were going to go to Sesame Place, but it will be closed for the season. Anyone know of other places I could take him?

  • Storybook Land in NJ is great (the website, when you google it, is loud). It's the perfect toddler park.

The Please Touch Museum (indoors) in Philly is also wonderful.

In Lancaster, PA: you could spend a great day at Strasburg Railroad, ride a steam train and stop at Cherry Crest Farm for the day. Or come back on the train and skip Cherry Crest and go across the street to the PA Railroad Museum and/or Choo Choo Barn.

  • If you're in north Jersey, check out The Land of Make Believe and see if they're open.

The please touch museum is excellent.

  • Just east of Scranton, there's a place called Claws & Paws. It's a wild animal park. DS loved it.

  • In PA you could totally do Roba's Farm (look at the website it is soo cool). They have hayrides, pumpkin picking, a bounce pillow, playground, pig races, petting zoo, fire pits, etc.  We LOVE IT THERE!

Phili Zoo if it is a nice day, Crayola Factory, Please Touch in Philly

NJ Camden Aquarium (very close to Phili so you can do the please touch and zoo easily).
