WTF??? Non IF related...

They news just came on and we are in a BOIL ORDER due to a water main break.  Now we have to boil all our water to cook with, drink, brush teeth ect.  Ugh.  What a pain.  I am goiong to get DH to bring home some distiled water.  What about bathing and showering?  Anyone know if that is ok?

There have been several boil orders in MA lately and with those it was okay to shower/bathe but no brushing teeth, etc.  I would have DH pick up plastic plates and silverware and take out dinner!

Hope they get it fixed quickly!

Man that sucks!  I would guess it is the same rules that apply when you visit somewhere like Mexico.  Don't drink/ingest the water but everything else is okay.  Don't forget to buy ice too because the stuff in your freezer has probably already been mixed with bad ice if you have an ice maker.

ohhhhhhhhh, ice good point.  I think I found out I can bath/shower.  Thank goodnees cause I have my ET tomorrow and I definitly need to shave my legs

VERY CONCERED for my little Cfer.  Who knows what is in the water, could be pseudomanas or even worse.  Yikes.  We will be very careful untill they lift the ban and probably for a few days after.  No water for him, no baths.  I am even thinking about calling our clinic to see if they have any tips but they will probably tell me I am overreacting.
