36 week visit - not bad at all

So I had my 36 week visit and my OB did my 1st internal.  I was a bit apprehensive based on what I had read in various posts, but it was completely fine.  No pain, no drama - 50% effaced and still closed, which is pretty much what I expected.  She did order an ultrasound for Monday because she thinks my little girl is measuring big (over 6.75 was her guess) and wanted a bit more info.  I'm just happy to be getting another peek at the little princess!  She did say she wished all her patients had as easy a pregnancy as I have had.  No sickness, swelling, pain - not a single complaint other than carpal tunnel which sprung up this week.   I know I'm lucky and I am so happy that I've been able to enjoy this experience.  Now I'm just hoping for an uneventful next few weeks and am eagerly awaiting her arrival!!!

Sounds like a great appt. That is so nice you get to see your little one next week!

Sounds like a great appointment!  I'm about where you are, softening up but still shut tight.

I'm so glad your pregnancy has gone so smoothly and you had a good appt. Maybe this is a sign of how labor and delivery will go?
