I take one of those smaller frozen turkeys - like Jenny-O's oven ready turkey.
Put it in the crock pot on low with a cup or so of water. Keep it in there until it easily shreds (about 6 hours). Drain the water out of the crock pot, shred the turkey and then add BBQ sauce. I usually leave the crock pot on low for another 1/2 hour after adding the BBQ sauce.
Here is the BBQ sauce recipe I use or you can just buy some.
1 Cup Ketchup
1 tbsp Mustard
3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Black Pepper
Simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl and you are done.
