Vivelle Patch Anyone?
I am on the Vivelle Patch for Estrogen Priming this week. I am supposed to change it every other day. (I also started Ganirelix shots today.)
Does anyone have experience with the patch? Any side effects? I was extremely emotional yesterday, and I'm wondering if this is a common side effect. I read that moodiness may be a side effect (reported on message boards, not official material) in women using the patch for menopause.
Of course I could just be emotional from the tumultuous TTC journey, or the fact that I'm turning 40 this week (which I didn't think bothered me!)!

I am on them too! Have been for about two weeks now for my FET. Last week I was terrible, (was also up to 5 patches every other day). I don't know if it was due to the LONG Lupron shots I was on or the patches but I was seriously a mess. I never really get "crazy" and I screamed at DH for 2 days no reason, poor guy! Also had terrible headaches also not sure if it was due to Lupron or not??!!
Now I am just back to 2 patches and progestron and feel much bettter. I also had a bday in September and this IVF seemed to take FOREVER. So, I was pretty much a big mess. Acupuncture has also helped me calm down. GL and Happy Early BDay!
Thanks, guys! I'm sure it is a combination of things that is making me crazy, along with the Patch.
It doesn't help that DH is taking me on a Spa vacation for my birthday this weekend, BUT I found out yesterday he FORGOT to actually schedule the Spa services, and they are booked. He said, "Well we can stay there and watch football on Satruday."
That made me cry like a baby.
