My milk is just done. Emma been getting all formula since Saturday. Now, she hasn't had a poopy diaper in 36 hours. Should I call the doctor, or is her body just adjusting?
I'm assumming you mean no poopy diapers (no pee diapers in 36 hours is a big problem). My DS always took a while to poop when we switched formulas, so I'm guessing the same would be true for the switch from BM to formula.
it's really, really common for babies to be constipated particularly when going from bm to formula.
You can call the doctor and see what they recommend. Some will suggest some prune or pear juice in a bottle, some a glycerin suppository.. just depends what they prefer and your LO's experiences.
