Holy morning from helll....

DD is has developed a multiple personality syndrome in the morning.  One second she is happy and playing, the next -- well, this morning she bit me on the shoulder when I was trying to get her to brush her teeth.

What a disaster.

Question: We hae a bathroom upstairs and in the finished basement, but not on the mail level.  The worst thing in the morning is getting DD to go back upstairs to brush her teeth.

Any suggestions?  Brush her teeth in the kitchen sick (icky?) Brush them as soon as she wakes up (upstairs, when she goes potty)?

Please help... last week she was my angle child, now she is... crazy...

  • Brush them in the kitchen at the sink.  Many times I find that if L is fighting me on this, I just do it where ever he is.  Then, he'll come to the bathroom with me to spit, rinse, etc.

I have also been known to brush them in the bathtub.  Whatever works :-)

  • Why is it icky to brush them in the sink? I do that every morning with DD after she eats her breakfast. She enjoys spitting in the sink for some reason.

  • I can relate. Mine wants to do everything herself and it's a battle particularly in the morning when I am rushing around.

  • We have tooth brushed in their bathroom and in the medice cabinet in the kitchen. If we do not get to it upstairs during morning potty time we do it right after breakfast.
