I always enjoy looking at other people's nurseries, so thought I'd share our (almost) finished product. We wanted a soothing room, so as you'll see, there are not any distracting designs, etc. Hope you like it and find some inspiration ;-)

Before

Before
After. We used a grey color on the walls....we are still waiting for the crib to come in, so the bassinet is in its place for now (which we will be using in our living room for daytime use the first few months).
We are renting, and the sofa was already in the house, so we decided to use it in the nursery.
Again, we are renting, and the children armoires were already in the room, so that is where they had to stay! Not really my style, but they do provide tons of storage, which is always good.
I'm thinking the wall above the dresser/changer needs something.......a small shelf perhaps?
Thanks for looking!!
Re: Nursery complete - PIPs....
i like the soft colors. I think you could totally use a shelf above the changer. We have the same changer and intend to do the same.
What a fun bassinet too!

I absolutely love the sailboat mobile, and all of the natural light in the room is going to be wonderful!
About a shelf over the changer...I am very nervous about anything about the changer that isn't securely bolted to the wall. What would you plan on putting on the shelves. I would be afraid of something falling off the shelf while my baby is on the changer.
I have noticed, though, that a lot moms on the board have, indeed, put cute shelves about the changing table, so maybe I am worrying needlessly....
I see what you mean about the shelf....I think it would be more of a decorative shelf, not one that I would put supplies on or anything heavy. Maybe I would put a couple small picture frames or small stuffed animals.
Very nice and relaxing looking!
Either a shelf or perhaps a painting of a sailboat (is that what the mobile is of?) above the changing station would be nice!
Are those photos of your dog or paintings? If they are paintings of your dog, I must get the name of the artist!
I like the idea of a painting of a sailboat....thanks!
Those are photos my husband took of our dog :-)
