Anyone know anything about these? I am thinking of maybe splurging on these instead of going with the mesh bumper. They are so much cuter. Does anyone have these?
I like the idea of these, but I really wonder how much safer they are. ?I mean, if the problem with?traditional?bumpers is that LO could plaster their little face up against them and then be unable to turn their head to breathe, isn't it possible that they could still do that with these, the space these leave in between is not that much at all. If you love the look of them and they come in a color that you love for your nursery than yes, they are worth the splurge. ?
I personally do not like the few colors and patterns these come in, plus I really do not think they are much safer.
BTW, I am one of those moms who uses traditional bumpers until they can use them to climb out, like 2 years old. ?I've done it twice and I will do it again. ?I just push them down really far, so that basically only about two inches is over the top. ?That way you can still see the design, and it makes the mattress snug to the crib. ?I think that a tiny gap between the mattress and crib railings is more dangerous than the bumper itself.
