She's had it for about 2 weeks. She hasn't had a fever with it, just congestion and a lot of snot/mucus.
I called the doctor to see if I should bring her in but the nurse said as long as she isn't extra fussy, running a fever, or having feeding problems that it just has to work it's way out on it's own.
Actually now that I think about it it's been more like 3 weeks that she's had it. I'm thinking of calling again and making an appointment. But there's not much you can give a 4 month old for cold symptoms ![]()
Re: My dd has a stubborn cold ...
Poor girl! I've been putting Jake in the bathroom with me while I take a shower to help with his congestion. Hope it gets better.
LOVE your sig pic!
Are you a SAHM, or do you work? My DD is in daycare and is always bringing home some sort of cough or congestion.
We're at the point where we always have one end of her crib up on blocks, suction her nose every morning and evening (if she lets us), and run the cool mist humidifer if it's less than 70% humidity in her room.
Thanks Gregsbride... I love that pic of her
I work and she is at an in-home daycare with about 6 other kids. So she is around more germs now... I'm going to try the cool mist humidifier and see if that helps.
