PG question - do you think I should be worried?

I weigh myself every monday morning.  This is the third week that I have weighed the same.  Do you think I should be concerned?  (weeks 15, 16, and 17)?

I gained more than expected at the beginning due to morning sickness and a carb craving :) Now I have went back to normal eating, so maybe things are just equaling out?

I see my OB tomorrow and will ask, just wondered if anyone had experience?

Re: PG question - do you think I should be worried?

  • No, I wouldn't worry.  At this point weight gain should be pretty slow so there might be weeks were you don't gain anything.  Also, when I was eating better, the baby was growing fine but I actually lost a little weight so it kind of balanced itself out.

I'm glad you have an OB appt tomorrow.  I hope everything goes well.

  • I wouldn't worry at all.  I only gained 16 lbs with my last pg and my OB was worried that the baby was going to be tiny...she did several U/S's to check for growth problems.  Emmy was almost 9 lbs.  I think as long as you're feeling fine, the baby is moving and measuring on track, don't worry what the scale says.

  • I had no weight gain at all during my 3rd pregnancy, and only 5 lbs total during my 4th (and I was a normal weight to begin), I wouldn't be concerned if they aren't.

  • No, I wouldn't worry at all. The same thing happened with me, and everything was 100% perfect.
