I lost DS for 3 minutes today

And almost had a heart attack and was pretty much in tears. We were at the local playground, but there was a festival going on today, so there were hundreds of kids there, and thousands of people at the festival. I turned by back for TWO SECONDS to grab my purse out of the stroller, and I didn't see him. He had been climbing on the playground, so I ran to where he usually goes after that, and he wasn't there. I ran around the entire thing, starting to panic when I didn't see him. Then I started asking people if they'd seen a boy in a green shirt, and a man asked me, "Is that him?" and he was about 10 feet behind me.

Scariest 3 minutes of my life. I couldn't believe how quick he was, and I couldn't believe how easy it could have been for someone to grab him. Ugh. I still feel sick to my stomach.

We knew what you meant. And yes, absolutely. I've lost DS for like 30 seconds in Target before and I thought I was going to have a heart attack, so I can't imagine what a complete basket case I would be after 3 minutes. That scares the crap out of me.

I know how terrifying that is! My 3 yr old DS ran away from me in a Cabela's store and i thought i was going to have a heart attack....darn kids!

I've lost A before so I know exactly what you're saying. It's an awful feeling. Glad to hear everything turned out ok.
