Anyone have any experience having hypothyroidism?

My dr checked my blood a few weeks ago and said it was low so I go Monday for a thyroid scan.  I was just wondering if anyone had any experience.  I have done some research and it makes sense I have alot of the symptoms.  I really do hope this is what is keeping me from dropping this weight and my anxiety returning.

I have it. It is really not a big deal once you are diagnosed and have your meds adjusted to the right levels. I was a mess before I was diagnosed, but I feel much better now and can tell when I miss a pill. I have had it for about 12 years now, so let me know if you have any questions.

I developed hypothyroid between my two pg's.  Also had a m/c in between, after which I was dx'd.  I had really good luck w/my meds- I went on one dosage & it has never changed through pg, nursing & beyond.  Good luck to you- I hope this gives you answers!

I was also diagnosed with low thyroid after my second pregnancy. I had so little energy, it was very frustrating and hard to take care of my two kids. I've been on synthroid now for a couple months - with periodic doctor's appts to check my levels and get the med dosage right - and I feel better.
